Space Ballz 0.35

Just put up an updated to 0.3.

  • Delayed the "x/y" score update effect so it happens a little bit after your ballz break and you see how much that was worth.
  • Made sure when you beat the level that the timer text was properly formated (was showing raw seconds remaining).

Hey. Played the latest Space Ballz. It's actually more fun than you describe! I like the control scheme and concept. A couple things I'll mention:

-Tell the player when a cannon is going to fire next. Sometimes I have to hurry in front of one and just hope it doesn't shoot and break my combo--unless that kind of random risk is intended
-I drove through a cannon at one point and fell outside the level; I couldn't get back in. I assume you do different collision with cannons than with tiles?

All in all, good stuff; keep it up

Ah well it sounds like you hit some of the bugs! I am guessing the cannon thing happened on the 2nd level? Yeah I'll make the hit area on the cannons big enough so there isn't a chance you can slide right past them! I like the cannon warning idea...I'll think of something. Just to clarify, the cannons choose a random firing time each time they fire.
