Attack of the Robo Zombies 0.3

Hola!

I've got a new demo up on the side there (Proto 0.3) that you and delve into. I added some more temp graphics to smooth out the look of the game but the bigger feature is a new level that shows off using traps to kill enemies. I'm thinking the game should be more focused on the idea of "herding" versus randomly spamming each zombie you see.

I've also added a new scoring mechanic which I hope to polish more down the road. So every time you kill an enemy, you gain 1 point but that is increasd by the current multiplier. Right now every kill grants you a +1 to the multiplier. This will reset to 1 after 5 seconds so its in your best interest to kill as many guys as close as possible (or save 1 while you kill a few others to net a high score).

I think there are a few bugs with it which I will look into later. Give it a go!

Great work! I definitely enjoyed it and the amazing splash screen art you did looks really good. I never knew you were such an artist! Har har..

Seriously, I enjoyed playing the game. I beat both levels! Sample 1 ramped up pretty hard, and I had a horde around my base. What I liked was having just enough to keep them away, while trying to figure out my strategy. They were slow, but kept pushing and I kept having to fend them off while I thought about how to kill large groups.

I think the camera also needs some work. The zoom was too jerky for me. Could you even rig up the mouse wheel to control the "default" zoom level? So you can zoom out more if you want?
And the red arrows are really nice. But I often fight "at the edge of the screen". What about centering action, slowly, on where you left click?
Or... what about having it so it moves around like an art program, so you have to hold RMB, but you can scroll around all you want? Just some thoughts.

I think the normal (only guys you have take a lot of hits). I would try adding a new, slightly smaller guy, that takes like... 30% and see if he's fun to kill or not. Then introduce the bigger dudes here.

I dunno, overall I definitely enjoyed it. It's a really interesting twist on the tower defense bit. But honestly I've only played a half dozen of those style games--not sure if someone else has done this already.
Even if they have this, it doesn't matter! I think this is turning out pretty fun, keep up the good work!
